Last month, while I was at the Golden Triangle Quilt Guild's Quilt Show, one of my booth neighbors was Cupcake Quilts out of the Houston area.  I was curious about all of these brown bags that were stapled shut with pretty fabric tied around the handle.  

Of course I chose one with Tula Pink fabric tied to it!  

The first clue is being released this weekend, so I figured it was time to open up my bag and see what fabrics I will be working with.  I've done a few mystery quilts in the past and have always picked my own fabrics.  I'm excited to see what has been selected in this one and how it will all come together!

I see Tula Pink fish in there!!!  And some fun bright colors, too!

I'm really curious as to how all of these bright colors are going to work together in this quilt!  White seems to be the obvious background fabric, and I'm hoping the fish end up being a feature fabric in this quilt.  The welcome paper does have some cutting instructions, so I'm about to hop on that and get to cutting, and I'm looking forward to Clue #1 coming in the mail soon!  Check back next week to see my progress!
