Where has 2025 gone? So much has happened in just the last few months that I can't believe it's almost November!

In January, I had no idea that come November, my youngest would be in her freshman year at Lamar University and that my oldest would be serving in the US Coast Guard, stationed in New Orleans, LA. In January, the youngest was planning a gap year after she graduated from high school and the oldest didn't even have the Coast Guard on his radar! I'm so incredibly proud of both of my children and the choices that they have made in the last year.

I also had no idea how Grunge+Grace would continue to grow and how Friends of Judy Retreats would have people already asking for our 2027 retreat locations!
As you may know, this year, I decided to add quilt patterns to my growing list of things I'm tackling. My first pattern has been released as a digital download and I've been talking to a certain major quilt shop about teaching it on one of their famous quilt cruises! That's not happening until 2027 and hasn't been officially announced as a cruise on their website yet, but it's coming! I'm so excited about it! I've been on 3 quilt cruises so far and have loved each one.
I've also been busy adding new products to my lineup! Last year, I started offering starch pens and that has now expanded to include Sewline glue pens, seam rippers, seam rollers, and up next will be trinket trays and magnetic pin trays.
I've been having a blast with new fabrics and recently fell in love with Tula Pink's Graywork.

I only have one more quilt show this year, so if you're in East Texas, make your way to Canton for the Texas Star Quilters Guild Quilt Show and Christmas Market on November 7 & 8.

I hope to see you there! It's time for me to get back to work, getting new tumblers and sewing accessories ready for next week!
Stay Creative, Friends!
